Refinance Rates Holding Close to Their Cheapest Level of the Year - Mar. 11, 2025

After sinking last Tuesday to their cheapest level since October, rates on 30-year refinance mortgages climbed a bit Wednesday but then have held roughly steady. The current average of 6.78% is just a bit above the recent low of 6.71%.
